[RINGMASTER COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Buxton - BM1944 Incident No: 349 10/12/08]

Police have concerns for a 69 year old male called Peter Gunn, missing from the Matlock area. Peter is described as a white male, 5ft 10" tall, slim build, short grey hair. Last seen wearing a brown padded jacket, brown trousers, navy blue waistcoat, a white checked shirt and brown leather shoes, possibly wearing a flat cap. Peter was last seen at 1pm on Wednesday 10th December '08 on School Lane, Baslow, but may have travelled out of the area on public transport.

Any sightings of this man, please contact Derbyshire Police on 0345 123 33 33 re Incident no: 349 10/12/08, as police are seeking his whereabouts as a matter of urgency.

A member of Horse Watch has raised concern about the 'interest' shown by a suspicious male who called at her premises on Coombs Road, Bakewell, at 1110hrs on 8/12/08, asking a number of questions about the horses, ie. what time she went to them, what she did with them, etc. He was using a pale gold coloured saloon car, part registration number YR02 P--. He is described as being in his late 40's to early 50's, scruffy appearance, with a small beard and moustache.

Please be extra vigilant and report any sightings of this male/vehicle to Derbyshire Police on 0345 123 33 33, quoting incident no: 254 of 8/12/08.

Welcome to the High Peak Hunt Website

The web site is undergoing some changes at the moment

The High Peak hunt over stone-wall country, which lies around Bakewell and Buxton in Derbyshire. It consists of old pasture with some plough and very little wire.

We hunt within the law and continue to fight The Hunting Act.

Visitors are very welcome by arrangment with the Field Secretary. See under 'Who's who'
